Power on the unit and start with moderate sensitivity. Slowly sweep the target area while monitoring the signal strength indicator. If the intensity increases near a specific spot, gradually lower the sensitivity and re-scan to pinpoint the exact source. Extend the telescopic booster antenna for enhanced long-range reception.

Look through the red optical viewfinder while activating the infrared LEDs. Carefully inspect surfaces and objects. A camera lens will reflect a bright red glint through the viewfinder, even if the camera is powered off. Move slowly and adjust your viewing angle slightly to verify suspicious reflections.
